The obverse side of the silver coin shows William Tell with his son Walter in the legendary scene. Tell is carrying a bow over his shoulder and grasping two gold-plated arrows – a stylish contrast to the coin in silver finish. The red apple on top of his son’s head stands out as the central element. The background shows a finely crafted Alpine landscape including a lake and mountains – referencing Lake Lucerne.
