At an altitude of 4,478 metres, the Matterhorn is one of the most famous mountains in the world, owing to its shape and history, and a symbol of Switzerland. The reverse side features the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, framed by the inscription "ELIZABETH II", the face value "5 DOLLARS" and year of issue "2022".
